Deepika Padukone is celebrating her birthday today. The actress has received a host of messages from her fans and colleagues on social media. One such message came from Ananya Panday, who has worked with Deepika Padukone in the film Gehraiyaan. Ananya has shared a photo in which Deepika Padukone is planting a kiss on Ananya’s cheek with a scene from the Gehraiyaan (featuring Deepika) playing in the background. In a note, Ananya Panday wrote: “The best kinda sandwich – a Deepu sandwich. Always filled with so much love. Happy happy birthday Deepika Padukone.” She also added a heart emoji along with the note.

Shah Rukh Khan, who starred in Deepika’s Bollywood debut Om Shanti Om, captioned the photo: “Deepika Padukone, how you have developed to rule the screen in every incarnation imaginable! Always proud of you and always wishing you success… happy birthday… Lots of love…Pathaan will be released in theatres on January 25th in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.”
Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan have also appeared in Happy New Year and Chennai Express, in addition to Pathaan and Om Shanti Om.
