The newest episode of Bigg Boss 16 included a Ticket to Finale assignment in which the surviving competitors struggled to win their seat in the final round and a chance at the trophy. The episode also featured a nomination assignment in which the participants had to propose their opponents. Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia got the opportunity to reclaim her place as captain, but she faced a hurdle when Bigg Boss informed her that if any of the competitors breached the rules during the assignment, she would be fired. This week, a promotional film showcasing Nimrit being named captain was uploaded online.
“Mai Nimrit ko ek baar fir captain bana raha hu, captaincy ke saath attached hai ticket to finals week,” Bigg Boss is heard saying. While the news surprised the housemates, Bigg Boss said, “Bas sirf uske liye, usko Nimrit ki captaincy ko cheen na hoga (For that, you must take Nimrit’s leadership).”

Shalin Bhanot may be seen supporting Nimrit’s captaincy. This infuriates Priyanka Chahar Choudhary since Shalin had stated that he intended to take Nimrit’s captaincy.
“You were conspiring against her captaincy, and now you want her to continue as a captain?” Priyanka asks. Tina joins the debate, calling Shalin “dogla (fake).” Shalin responds by accusing Tina of scheming against Nimrit and casting aspersions on her reputation. When Tina is through with one person (Shalin), she moves on to another (pointing to Shiv Thakare and MC Stan).”
Tina responds angrily, “Zabaan sambhalke baat kar. I’m going to slap you. Shalin Bhanot, khud ki biwi ki dignity nahi rakha, you’re pointing fingers at my character? (Be careful with your tongue. You couldn’t defend your ex-dignity, wife’s and now you’re attacking my character?)”
Tina Datta, Shalin Bhanot, Soundarya Sharma, and Sumbul Touqeer Khan were nominated for elimination this week.
