Devoleena Bhattacharjee shocked her admirers earlier this month when she married her fitness trainer Shahnawaz Shaikh. Since then, the actress has been sharing bits from the celebrations with her Instagram followers. Devoleena has now revealed a new batch of photos from her wedding album. The actress has described the photos as the “most funniest” of the year. Shahnawaz is shown with her rumoured ex-boyfriend Vishal Singh. The actress captioned the photos, “And, the most funny one of the year 2022.” Devoleena and Vishal were said to be dating, for those who are unaware. The couple announced their engagement in an Instagram photo earlier this year.
Devoleena then revealed in an interview with ETimes that the engagement was a joke. “It’s absurd that people believed Vishal and I got married. Vishal has been one of my closest friends since I began working on Saathiya, and the entire world knows it. We weren’t engaged back then, and we’re not engaged today. He is my best buddy, and everyone should understand that it was all a joke to promote my music video.”
Devoleena Bhattacharjee is well known for her role as Gopi Bahu in the television series Saath Nibhaana Saathiya. During her wedding announcement post, the actress released a collection of frames starring herself and her spouse Shahnawaz Shaikh. The post’s accompanying letter stated, “And yes, I can happily report that I am taken, and yes, Shonu. Toh tujh jaisa nahi milta chiraag lekar bhi dhoondti. You are the answer to my prayers and to my anguish. Shonu, I adore you. Many blessings to you all. Please remember us in your prayers and bless us. Devoleena Bhattacharjee captioned a video from her wedding day, “Just [read heart emoji]. Thank you, Shonu, for always being there when no one bothered to inquire how I was doing. Thank you for making me feel exactly as I wanted to feel. Thank you for being safe, kind, and loving. Most importantly, respecting and embracing me with all of my shortcomings. Bohot kahna chati hun.
