India and Nepal have signed an agreement for three projects in the education and healthcare sectors.

India and the Nepal government signed an agreement worth more than Rs 101 million to expedite three projects in the education and healthcare sectors to provide safe drinking water in the Himalayan nation.

The implementation of these projects reflects the Indian government’s continued support for the Nepalese government’s efforts to uplift its people, according to the Indian Embassy here. It stated that as close neighbours, India and Nepal have extensive and multi-sectoral cooperation.
