Vicky Kaushal, who was most recently seen in Govinda Naam Mera, has returned to work. On Thursday, the actor provided an update on his work-in-progress film Sam Bahadur. The Meghna Gulzar-directed film began production in August of last year. It has so far been shot in nine places, and the team arrived in “city number ten” today. Vicky Kaushal posted a selfie on Instagram that looks to be from a flight.
He is dressed in a pastel-colored sweatshirt, a black hat, and sunglasses. “Touchdown city number ten… It’s time to see Sam again! “Sam Bahadur,” the actor captioned the photo. In case you missed it, Sam Bahadur is the biopic of the late Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw.Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh also star.

Vicky Kaushal plays the title character in Sam Bahadur. He just posted a photo of himself with Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw’s monument. “Sam,” he captioned the photo, which also included a home and a red heart emblem.
Vicky Kaushal and the producers of Sam Bahadur confirmed the film’s release date in December of last year. Vicky Kaushal shared a teaser, writing, “365 days to go… Sam Bahadur will be released in theatres on December 1, 2023.”
Vicky Kaushal shared a collection of photos from the film’s set with director Meghna Gulzar and the rest of the cast and crew a few months ago. “After more than 2 months of rigorous effort across 5 cities… it’s a schedule wrap for the bahadurs!!!” he wrote. This week also celebrated the four-year anniversary of Vicky Kaushal’s hit Uri: The Surgical Strike. The actor posted an image from the film, in which he portrayed an Army commander, with the caption, “Forever thankful for all the JOSH!” URI for four years.” His wife, actress Katrina Kaif, reacted positively to the message.
